Purchasing a home, farm or business can be an intimidating and stressful experience. Having a realtor who can walk you through the process, and help you make the best decision possible is an invaluable asset. This is what we do for our clients, and we are honoured that some of them have expressed their appreciation in cards, emails and letters. Below is one such letter.

 

To whom it may concern,

 

When Vince Eidsness first approached us to offer a free market evaluation on our town home we reluctantly accepted on the recommendation of a coworker. It’s not that we doubted his sincerity but my husband and I had already been through 2 other realtors with competing companies in as many years.  The first realtor became complacent and ignored our requests for advance notice on showings. The second realtor virtually disappeared after the contract was signed. When Vince, who represented Remax, approached us, my husband and I were both somewhat cynical and skeptical that Vince would follow through on his promises. We had heard it before “we’ll sell your home, guaranteed, within the first 3 months”. Vince took that a step further and boasted it would take him 3 weeks! 

 

The value of our home didn’t quite reach our mortgage balance and we had long outgrown our current home’s size due to our growing family. Although we desperately wanted a house and more room we had bought high and had had our home up for sale for over 3 years in the hopes that it would sell. Despite these circumstances Vince wanted to take us on as clients and we accepted him as our realtor based on a few conditions that we outlined regarding our relationship. First we indicated that we wanted notice prior to any viewing. Second we wanted a weekly update irregardless of what had or had not happened that week. Although these considerations may seem standard or even trivial, neither of our other two realtors was able to accommodate our requests.

 

Not only did Vince concede to our requests, he proved to be exceptional in his customer service to us. He always followed through on any promises, made weekly calls and even took care of details that exceeded our expectations. And to top it off he really did sell our town home within … 3 weeks! Vince changed us from cynical nonbelievers into trusting clients that when the time comes to sell our new home, which he also helped us find, we’ll call on him first (but not for a few years yet).

 

We gladly and highly recommend Vince Eidsness as a realtor who takes that extra step in the best interests of his clients. Thanks Vince for everything!
